From 30th Oct 2016, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will commence operations from Dublin with seamless connections to Asia via the award-winning Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The new service will offer some of the fastest routes to the Far East with a short feeder and one long-haul flight.
Starting with two flights operated by KLM and two flights in cooperation with partners Aer Lingus for the winter, KLM will increase to four flights a day from 26 March 2017. In addition to Air France’s 5 daily flights from Dublin to Paris Charles de Gaulle and multiple regional partners, Ireland's strong demand for access to the region has never been better served. Both KLM & Air France offer business class services from Dublin with separate check in facilities, fast track security lanes, additional checked luggage allowance, full meal service on board and lounge access at Dublin and Amsterdam .
Warner Rootliep, General Manager for Air France-KLM, UK and Ireland, said there was growing demand to destinations in Asia from Ireland. “We know that the service we will provide out of Dublin will perfectly answer the needs of Ireland’s capital and demonstrates our commitment to the Irish market,” he said.
